Rules
STOCK TUFF TRUCK
Body: Cab must be steel. May trim to lighten. May use SUV. All glass must be removed.
Frame: Stock.
Engine: Stock 4, 6 or 8 cylinder. Engine must be stock to that vehicle. May have headers, no after market engine parts, cylinder heads, cranks, rods, cams, or rockers. You are allowed a throttle body spacer, cold air intake, or other bolt on parts.
Transmission: Automatic or standard shift. 2wd or 4wd allowed.
Wheel: Steel or aluminum. Bead locks allowed.
Tires: Any DOT tire. May cut. No racing tires.
Shocks: One per corner. Bump stops are allowed.
Suspension: 10 inch suspension travel maximum.
Fuel: Gas only.
Front Bumper: No wider than center of front tires. No bigger than 2" x 2" tubing, no pointed or sharp ends. (revised)
MODIFIED TUFF TRUCK
Body: Must look like a truck or SUV. May be steel, aluminum or fiberglass.
Frame: Open. May build tube frame.
Engine: Open.
Transmission: Open. May be 2wd or 4wd.
Wheels: Open.
Tires: Open.
Shocks: Open.
Front Bumper: No wider than center of front tires. No bigger than 2" x 2" tubing, no pointed or sharp ends. (revised)
Suspension: 15 inch travel maximum.
Fuel: Gas or methanol. Must have fuel cell.
MUD BOG
Rules subject to change pending participants.
May register for one class only.
Classes are broken into tire size:
1. 34" and down. One carburetor or EFI. No nitrous or alcohol. Gas or diesel only. DOT tires (may cut tires) no paddle tires and no chain drives. (revised)
2. 35"-39". One carburetor or EFI. No alcohol or nitrous. Gas or diesel only. DOT tires (may cut tires) no paddle tires and no chain drives. (revised)
3. Unlimited Any tire, any fuel, any frame. Any transmission. Any body, fiberglass, steel, or aluminum.
FRONT WHEEL DRIVE RALLY CARS
Body: All glass removed. Must have strong roll cage.
Engine: 4 cylinder. No turbo! No supercharged! Same after market rules as stock tuff trucks.
Transmission: Any automatic or standard shift.
Skid plates: Allowed.
Wheels: Steel or aluminum.
Fuel: Gas only.
Front Bumper: No wider than center of front tires. No bigger than 2" x 2" tubing. No sharp ends.
ATV RULES
All ATV riders must wear helmet, chest plate and boots. No exceptions.
Class 1: 90-110cc and under.
Class II: 450cc/open.
ALL CLASSES
1. No racing back to caution on any lap. Last lap, if caution and winner has taken the flag, you will be scored at that point.
2. No video used except the track video.
3. Rough driving will not be allowed. First time: Warning. Second time: Asked to leave the track.
4. All decisions by the track officials are final.
5. All racers will have three minutes to report.
RACE PROTEST PROCEDURES
(1) First Three (3) Places of the race may protest another racer in his/her class that “placed”(won money) within a half hour after the conclusion of the final race of that class.
(2) Protest money will be presented to the Track Manager/Owner by the protesting racer. Fee is $200.00 Dollars that should be considered non refundable at the time of protest.
(3) The protesting racer shall make a clear and concise accusation as to the illegal area in which the race truck has violated the rules and the protest will remain in the scope of the original complaint.
If the protest is found to be non-valid by the track, the driver being protested will be awarded 50% of the original protest fee which is $100.00.
(4) No motor parts will be removed with the exception of the Valve covers, or Oil Pan.
(5) The race truck driver will personally remove track official deemed Oil pan, or Valve cover, etc.In a Two (2) Hour Time Limit, or the protest will be deemed valid
(6) If the protested driver fails or refuses to follow the track official instructions. The protest will be deemed as substantiated and the protest will be awarded to the protester.
(7) If the track official substantiates the protest, 100% of the protest fee is returned to the protester.
(8) If a protest is found to be valid, the illegal truck and driver are suspended for one southern ky offroad race and all entry fees, winnings and points are forfeited. The suspension may be waived if the track officials votes and agrees, that the infraction was of an accidental nature.
(9) Track officials has the absolute discretion on the level of reteching for protest procedures and further has total and exclusive authority in determining if the racing vehicle is illegal for the class raced.
(10) During a protest procedure the only persons allowed is the protesting driver, the protested driver,and Track Officials. All others will stay away, If any team members, Family, Friends etc from either driver joins in it could be ruled the protest is invalid or valid what the track official deems right for the occasion
